About Us
For almost 40 years, I spent an amazing career at GE Aviation managing a large global team and supporting aircraft engine maintenance operations around the world. During that time, I traveled extensively and always had the concern of quality care for my pets.
My pets ranged from cats, puppies who need very focused care, dogs with severe anxiety and a requirement for larger amounts of companionship, and elderly dogs with needs for extensive physical care. For my pets, the ideal solution was in-home-care. And while we have amazing neighbors and relatives, it was difficult to get the level of commitment in time and routine we needed. And it was even more challenging to find hobby pet sitters who are trained and equipped to handle critical or emergency situations with pets or your home. We tried many different providers, and with them came so many issues ranging from the late night call they had locked themselves out of the house, broken appliances, uninvited guests, to our 135 lb elderly dog falling into the pool … and she couldn’t get out! No worries, she was safely rescued!
When blessed with the unbelievable opportunity of a full early retirement from GE, I jumped in with all paws to establish what I always struggled to find …

Animals have always been a part of my life, but it was the rescue of these cuties at five weeks old that brought me to the world of feline rescue and caregiving after a 23-year career in corporate operations. The foster fail of this bonded pair of tabbies, Grandin and Picler, led to me caring for their littermates and hundreds of other shelter kitties over several years as a volunteer. Caring for 100+ kitties on any given day exposed me to, well, pretty much everything! It was hard work and I loved every minute of it. Holy Paws gives me the opportunity to expand my care giving expertise to not just cats but now dogs along with many other type of pets. My HOA limits me to two pets so unfortunately, I can’t spoil any more in my home. That’s why I’m here – to love on your fur babies as well!
